This is a 24-year-old young woman who was interested in breast augmentation. She had done a great deal of research and came in with a preference for saline implants due to her safety concerns and the experience of family members. She preferred an inframammary incision with the implants placed sub-muscularly. Her goal was to have “up top, not natural, not down, full perky breasts.” She tried on moderate and high profile saline implants, and ultimately chose a high profile 350 to 400 cc implant. Dr. Kaye explained that these were large implants for her frame and advised against this since her goals of long term “perkiness.” In the end she decided on 320cc. She is shown here at her pre-op and six week post-op appointments.She states “I feel more confident about myself, and my self-esteem has boosted.”
