Tummy Tuck (Lipoabdominoplasty) Photos - Case #60762

Patient Case #60762

This 39-year-old stay-at-home mother of two teenagers has been bothered for years by loose and hanging abdominal and upper arm skin. She was 5’6” and 180 lbs. at the time of her lipoabdominoplasty, a significant improvement from her maximum weight of 220lbs several years earlier.
We first performed her lipoabdominoplasty and then 4 days later she had her bilateral brachioplasty (arm lift). We often separate longer procedures such as these, by several days. This turns a too long surgical and anesthetic procedure into two shorter and therefore safer procedures. The recovery period is only a few days longer, and the patient can have both procedures done in a very time efficient manner. We often do this with lipoabdominoplasty and breast lift/augment/reductions.

She recovered quickly and was back to normal out of the house activity at 2 weeks post-operative. She gradually resumed her exercise schedule with our supervision from the 3rd to the 6th week. She is “very pleased” with her results and has healed beautifully. Her self-confidence is much better.

She states, “my clothes fit better and my confidence is boosted!
