The patient is a 38 year old who has been interested in breast augmentation for many years. Her goals were to have her “breasts match her hips” and “not look like a boy when [she lays] down.” She had good breast volume during pregnancy and wanted to regain this. After a full discussion of the three incision options, three placement options and saline versus silicone she chose inframammary, submuscular moderate profile 360cc saline. Following surgery she says she has so much more self-confidence. She can wear clothes that she couldn’t wear before and she feels so much better about herself.
