Otoplasty (Protruding Ears)
Conveniently located to serve Hopkinsville and Christian County
Ears that “stick out” too far can frequently be a source of discomfort and embarrassment. This problem is usually caused by a failure of the ear cartilage to properly fold on one or both sides. Fortunately, Dr. Mitchell Kaye is able to address this issue with an otoplasty (ear pinning procedure).

How long will recovery take?
The patient is then discharged home, and the sutures are removed after about one week. The patient may return to normal daily activities in just one or two days. Our plastic surgeon recommends wearing a supporting earband at night for three weeks. After this time, the patient can return to a normal exercise schedule.
